Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson, Joe Biden’s Supreme Court candidate, is accused of a disturbing history of leniency toward convicted sex offenders.
Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, a Republican, claims to have discovered a dark secret in Jackson’s past: in every single child porn case for which records exist, Judge Jackson strayed from federal sentence guidelines in favor of child porn offenders.
Judge Jackson has a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes, both as a judge and as a policymaker. She’s been advocating for it since law school. This goes beyond “soft on crime.” I’m concerned that this a record that endangers our children

Some offenders, according to Jackson, are just nonpedophiles who obtain child pornography.
It gets worse. As a member of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Judge Jackson advocated for drastic change in how the law treats sex offenders by eliminating the existing mandatory minimum sentences for child porn

“This is a disturbing record for any judge, but especially one nominated to the highest court in the land. Protecting the most vulnerable shouldn’t be up for debate. Sending child predators to jail shouldn’t be controversial,” Hawley said in his list of examples.
Judge Jackson has said that some people who possess child porn “are in this for either the collection, or the people who are loners and find status in their participation in the community.” What community would that be? The community of child exploiters? pic.twitter.com/JDxqf9Q1AH

Hawley compiled a harrowing list of cases. He claims that this demonstrates that she is not just soft on crime, but also has a track record that puts our children in peril.
Because everything for Democrats is about race, Joe Biden promised during the 2020 campaign trail to appoint the first Black woman to the nation’s highest court.
Biden honored his word and nominated Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court in an act of racial discrimination. Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican, replied to the nomination by saying that today’s Democrats believe in racial discrimination.
Judge Jackson has opined there may be a type of “less-serious child pornography offender” whose motivation is not sexual but “is the challenge, or to use the technology.” A “less-serious” child porn offender? pic.twitter.com/2bb1rZuTXW

As the confirmation hearings approach, Jackson’s judicial record is being scrutinized more closely.
Hawley claims to have detected a troubling pattern in Judge Jackson’s treatment of sex offenders, particularly those who prey on children.
