Agents from the US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) discovered an abandoned toddler near the Mexican border. It serves as a reminder that illegal immigration is harmful to countries other than the United States. It’s also perilous for immigrants.
CBP agents saw a little infant with a group of 38 illegal aliens near Roma, Texas, early on April 18. Nobody claimed to know who the youngster was when authorities caught and questioned the group, but when agents searched the two-year-old boy, they discovered his birth certificate, which had his father’s contact information inscribed on the reverse. Agents suspect the youngster entered the US without his parents after losing a shoe in the dirt while crossing the Rio Grande. The infant was evaluated by a CBP paramedic before being transported to the processing station.

Undocumented immigrant immigrants are becoming more of a concern; the Rio Grande City CBP Station reports that from October to March, it saw more nearly 38,000 unaccompanied non-citizen youngsters. Many of the youngsters they uncover are too young to disclose information about their family members, according to a spokeswoman, so agents must depend on notes found in their things or scrawled on their clothing.
It’s astonishing that a parent would let their two-year-old child to traverse a perilous border alone, but it’s just another reason why illegal immigration must be stopped.
