A child grooming program in New York City might be coming to your child’s school soon.

The group “Drag Queen Story Hour NYC” has received over $200,000 in taxpayer funds from New York City.

The group has received a total of $207,000 in government funds since 2018, according to papers, including $50,000 from New York State’s Council on the Arts and $157,000 from the city’s Departments of Education, Cultural Affairs, Youth and Community Development, and Transportation.

The very improper organization brings drag queens into schools without parental authorization to read children’s books while dressed in drag. This year, the organization has put on 49 drag shows at 34 elementary, middle, and high schools.

Their website claims that their events are powerful, glorious, and crucial in exposing youngsters to such sexualization.

Mayor Eric Adams (D-NY), a Democrat, justified and even endorsed the recent spate of “drag queen” concerts aimed towards children.

“Drag storytellers, and the libraries and schools that support them, are advancing a love of diversity, personal expression, and literacy that is core to what our city embraces. At a time when out LGBTQ+ communities are under increased attack across this country, we must use our education system to educate. The goal is not only for our children to be academically smart, but also emotionally intelligent,” Adams stated in a tweet.

Republican Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, on the other hand, lambasted the mayor’s remarks, characterizing them as child grooming and sexualization.
