Despite allegations of a growing rivalry between the two Republicans, former President Donald Trump denied that he is feuding with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis was formerly a staunch supporter of former President Trump, but sources claim that their relationship has deteriorated, with DeSantis refusing to rule out a presidential candidacy in 2024.

The former president has often stated that he intends to run for president and that he believes he would defeat DeSantis in a rematch and that the governor would make an excellent vice-presidential pick.

In recent weeks, the two have appeared to battle on COVID-19 policy, with Trump criticizing gutless legislators who refused to reveal if they’d taken booster doses.

DeSantis has declined to say whether he has had one, and on Friday, he appeared to reply by attacking Trump’s handling of the outbreak.

The media created the notion of a rupture, according to former President Barack Obama, who commended DeSantis for backing him during special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian intervention in the 2016 election.

Despite Trump’s glowing praise for DeSantis, Axios reported last week that the former president is irritated by the governor’s popularity and refusal to rule out a 2024 presidential run.

According to the outlet, Trump has been publicly criticizing Florida Governor Rick Scott, claiming that he lacks personal appeal and has a bland demeanor.
